It is a little annoying to have to jump through hoops to get this $1000+ investment to work properly. Any idea why this new probe would give such sporadic readings, while the old one, even though rusty, works perfectly?

What I want you to do is. Disconnect the Salinity Interface from your Power Bar. Hit "Enter" after it tells you "Device Disconnected". Go into your "Main Menu" scroll down to "Disconnect". Hit enter and "confirm". Once the Salinity program is gone, attach your new probe and plug the interface back in. Accept that when it tells you "New device connected" place the probe where you want it to take readings. Leave it over night. Well lets say 24 hours. Calibrate the probe and send me the results.

Thats all I want you to do before I send you a new probe.

Who knows which is the number of the latest firmware ? Is it 1.25 ?

I'm trying to update my firmware but the program is giving me an error and it is not able to connect to the Aquatronica server. I think the error is 10058.

Does any body gets a Socket error 10053 when trying to update the firmware ? How can I solve the problem ? It says that the software is not allowing the connection and the program closes with out being able to update the firmware.

If you are running a firewall, you'll need to disable it while doing the update, or configure it to allow the connection.

Any word on the update? They are running a little behind scheduale. But I would rather have it right and beeter late than never. Mayybe they are adding more extra features. Possibly some fixes to the PH calibrating problems.

I got an email from Aquatronica, they say that they are having some problems and need to work out some bugs in the software and that has delayed the release. The new release date is Mid March.

They appologize for the delay but said that they want to get it right.

On the good news side they told me that the Beta tester program for the Ethernet / "hopefully webserver" is on schedule.

hmmm he suffers from SE (Size Exaggeration). Very common in young Males :lol: Well if it's only 568 Gallons Im not impressed
and dont tell me you added the sump into it. When you get a true 600 you can join us again
