Aquavitro Fuel

I use it and like it, LFS is bringing it in 4ltr jugs!!
but if overdone I've found it can cause an algae bloom on my rock work.

I've been using it for quite some time and my acros have never looked better. I dose 2x a week. I use it after the lights are out.

My other corals, zoas palys and lps, seem to like it too!

I have in fact since I stopped dosing everything but kalk seen a pretty good improvement in color and grow is still the same but colors have popped! Not dosing lugol's, fuel or potassium at all. K.I.S.S

I used this stuff a little and noticed results. I went alittle crazy with it and bought 15 bottles of the large quantity bottle. Even with a 700 gallon system I have only used 1 1/2 bottles in a 8 months or so. I have a over growth of some plating algae on rocks dont know if this is the cause, but acros have new tips and look good

I wanted to add that dosing fuel at recommended dosage will cause a light dusting on the glass. I only use about half or less.

I started using it a little over a week ago. Since then my SPS has already started coloring up and my acro grew new axial corallites, and my bright orange fungia that had somewhat browned out has colored up brighter than ever

Caution

Caution

Guys, use caution when using this stuff, it adds a *ton* of phosphate to your tank.

I took a phosphate reading with my Hanna Checker right before adding this stuff to my tank and had a 0.00 reading. After adding just 3 inner caps of Fuel to my 150 gal (with 55 gal sump), I waited 10 minutes and did another phosphate test, this time it read 2.0! I repeated this same test the next day. It's not a huge issue for me because I run GFO which cleans up the phosphate in less than a day but if you're not running some kind of phosphate remover, you're bound to see some increased algae growth as well. Not saying this is a bad product at all and probably adds a lot of aminos and things our corals need, but just wanted to point this out.

I use it - I love it. I would say after about a week and a half to 2 weeks, you will see a difference.

I did notice a dusting at the beginning of dosing but after a couple of weeks, it settled down - I guess it stabilizes with the system or something.

All in all it's the exact same thing as Seachem's Reef Plus, with the exception of 1 or 2 ingredients with slightly higher levels. If you can't find Fuel and can get a hold of Reef Plus, it's the same thing.

How frequently do you dose?

Have some coming tomorrow, been having major issues with ulns with my bb system and dry rock no mater how much I feed the fish and does RSM amino's. Praying i will be able to increase intensity if this stuff works. All i know is 0 P04 isn't fun to look at its results.

wow this stuff works, i'm on my second day after dosing recommended amount. My Green slimmer polyp extension is double no bs. I know I need to be careful of over dosing which looks to be very easy to do especially when you see positive results. Mys system has been so stripped added anything would most likely help. Plan to report back after some time hoping for more positive results.

Would like to see and hear more from people with BB / ULNS tanks since this is something I hope will fix a lot of issues.

12 day update wow this was the stuff I needed. its been almost 2 week now, night and day difference from my starved sps corals that have been hanging on for the last few months. Running BB is just so easy to strip nutrients with little fish and weekly 20 percent water changes. If anyone has pale corals and believes they are running to low of nutrients I totally recommend this product. As for dosing? I started at the recommended and doubled it daily till i started seeing the corals react. I will admit there were some odd coral slim spots which i believe were bacteria related but I do not know for sure. My ponape birdsnest, and garf were on the verge of dieing and now have totally reversed themselves. Also the green skimmer, pocillopora and a few other frags have colored up with great polyp extensions. The last few days I have finally been able to increased the intensity of the LED's and for once starting to seeing some film on the glass. Since using Fuel my skimmer has been pulling some nasty suff instead of very little which is another good sign. Not sure if you guys can tell but i'm happier :)

Best,
Brad
