Are Maroons jumpers?

I clean the glass and my maroon has been stalking herself ever sense. She'll go to the top of the tank and splash around. I'm starting to wonder about getting some netting to make sure she doesn't do something stupid and rash.

So, are they jumpers? Usually all my fish ignore the surface, but I installed an automatic feeder and I think I opened a new world for them.

Well I've noticed after owning many clownfish that the bigger the clownfish, the less likely they are to jump. If she's more than 2", I wouldn't worry about it, but if she's around 1", then it's very possible. The bigger they are the harder it is for them to get out of the water. Once my clownfish reached about 1.5" they stopped jumping, but I've only kept Ocellaris. My female Black Ocellaris goes up to the top of the tank and splashes around when I'm near the tank because she's extremely territorial.

She's pushing 3", so I'll quit obsessing about it.

Then she should probably be fine. But I've never had a Maroon that big, so I'm not sure what they're capable of. Is the waterline right at the tank rim or is it an inch or two below? I've heard of one male (I'm assuming about 2-3") popping out of a tank while a female chased him.

Somebody else's opinion would be greatly appreciated here so that I'm not the deciding vote.

They splash the waterline when food is present and/or when they are attacking something at the water's surface (my hand, for instance), but jumping? Not so much.

She's just splashing at her reflection. I have a plastic lip and a good inch of glass out of the water.

I've had a maroon the same size as yours for 2 years. I've never noticed her wish to jump, yeah, she likes splashing (not much in my case) at the surface but jumping ... I doubt. I think you can relax.
