Hey guys, i need opionions. I got the rapid led non dimmable kit for biocube 29. I didnt get the dimmable because it was a little confusing to install the dimmer. I have always had a little bit of algae problems like bryopsis and i just got over dinos. Also my nitrates are 10ppm and phosphate is zero, im also running gfo. Do you think its the lights?

The only way to measure the lights is by PAR meter, not by eye. Definitely need to work on those nitrates.

I have done a DIY Rapid LED light before.
I would not use any optics on a shallow tank unless it is sps only.

I don't think lights have anything to do with algae.
The sun is far brighter and algae doesn't grow all the great barrier reef etc.

Remove the algae manually.
