Are puffers sensitive to maracyn and other meds

Hi all I am relatively new to qting fish and am learning as I go along. I run the quarantine tanks at the store I work at, and do not seem to have any luck with maracyn plus and puffers. Every time i put them in it they die.

One a couple hours after acclimation and another in the cup I was acclimating him in. To be specific I am using maracyn plus.

Are these guys sensitive to maracyn? I know they are sensitive to copper, but an antibiotic?

Maracyn should be fine for a puffer. I prefer Melafix & Pimafix as 1st choices for mild bacterial/fungal issues. Extra O2 source may be necessary when using these meds & tany skimmers will need to be turned off. They can be used in conjunction with other, stronger meds, if necessary.
