Hi

went over to a LFS this w/e, saw a tankfull of these beauties, i thought they look Onyx babies, but i was told these are just Ocellaris babies that have been shipped from a breeder a couple weeks too early but they will eventually fade the black, they are $14.95 each. i said to myself, ok cool, if they are Ocellaris the price isn't too high, if they are Onyx, the price is too good to pass up, so i asked for 2.

what is your opinion? they are around 1.5" to 1.75".

thanks guys, i am not sure if i should go back and get 2 more for my other tank. if they are indeed Onyx then i should get another pair just in case i need 2 pairs :D

2 pairs for the price of one (1) Onyx on the market.

Deffinetly looking like juvenile onyx percula to me.You lucky dog. They said they are from a breeder but i would be safe and QT just in case they are wild caught, because brook is prevalent in wild caught clowns.

I was thinking of going to check them out but I realized I have one two many onyx in the tank. Currently have 3, soon to be 2. What they say is true, DO NOT put more than one paid of clowns unless in a really really big tank. :)
