Are we able to keep a coco worm?

Hi there,
Can any folks experienced with keeping a coco worm tell me, do pods have any nutritional value for coco worms to the extent that one can keep them thriving without phytoplankton?
I'd love to include one in our nano but don't know if I want to dose phyto because of the change it would be for my existing corals in terms of water quality/nutrient export.
Is it even possible for coco worms to thrive with only pods because we have a constant abundance of pods for months now. If it's just not possible for coco worms to thrive without phyto than I'll just have to get over not being able to get one....or two. ;-)
Thanks much.

Featherdusters & coco worms don't eat pods, they filter small particles out of the water. I wish I had the slide that Dr. Shimek showed at our last month's local club meeting, had a great drawing that showed how the particles are filtered in or out by size, etc. The only eat very specific sized particles, as well.

Hi Sushi Girl, thanks. Well, darn I was afraid that would be the case. Maybe someday, in a different tank or a non-photosynthetic species type tank.
That's sounds like a good article regarding what size of food coco worms will accept. I'll search for it. Thanks again.
