Best of luck in selling. We just got our house off the market (pending sale) in Fayetteville. Were in the process of moving back to Rochester. Your 75G looks great. If I wasn't moving and didn't already have a basement full of tanks I would buy it. My wife told me to start giving away the extra tanks (55, 20, and 45 that is still in Rochester from the last move). My best advice... clean like crazy, demand open houses, and make sure the pictures they take are of high quality.

No. But seriously, it's like any other hobby that can become extreme in some peoples idea of that. People have built their very own houses around things like trees or created a house out of a science fiction story or housed 3,000 sq feet of collectible toys. Or have a beer can collection, antique movie reels, An amusement park in your house... the examples could go on forever. With all the various extreme hobbies out there. Especially Automobile collecting.
At least this hobby serves as a therapy of sorts that can fit into any ones budget with at least some planning, saving or restraint. The lifeforms we care for in these glass or acrylic boxes seem to have a much more personal gratification than the lifeless material of other hobbies. They also serve as a better educational value for those of us who have little ones.
Yes- things cost money. Sometimes crazy money to some of our thinking... or our significant others thinking... :lol:
But in the end it's worth it. As long as you can place family ahead of any hobby. This one is at least one of the better ones to have. Or be considered ":bigeyes:Crazy" for doing.

"crazy"? is the disorentation of ones thoughts if you ask me . usually the highest iq people are on the verge of crazyness . you are not crazy but when you finish all the projects in your house just before you put it up for sale and now it will look better than ever before . not crazy just what had to be done so you can turn the page and move forward in life !
