As requested...some pics of the new tank

FINALLY !! I got the pictures from IMAC, and the new tank that we won !!

In case you missed it, UH_Oh and I won the grand prize...a 300g Starfire tank, stand, canopy. Three pendant metal halides, two T5 units, sump, protein skimmer, pumps...the entire works !

For some reason, it looks really small in these pictures...

And no, it's not set up yet, it's still sitting in UH_OH's garage until we move.

We will ! Eventually ! :lol: We're still doing a lot of reading and trying to fugure out what will be the best equipment to run it. Instead of Power heads, I'm leaning towards a closed loop system.

We (and by "we" I mean *I*....he just doesn't know it. lol) are going to stick with LPS and softies. I've never been too fond of the "colourful sticks and twigs" of SPS.

And I'm still working on a fish list...

It's going to be an open concept, with lots of free swimming space, no "rock wall" aquascaping....

Yup, it was the grand prize for the raffle.

I've never won anything in my entire life. NOTHING !! ZIP!! ZERO !!! .....I guess this makes up for all the lost raffles in my past.
