Thanks Guys, you are all great. I can not express my thanks enough.
I have managed to get back with some of you and have begun adding corals. I will be sending a few more PMs later to arrange getting some more corals into the tank. So far we have some of mine, GregC's, Scashmans, TimVs corals in there. (hope I didnt miss anyone) Jrod's candycane will be going in tomorrow.
here is a picture of how the tank looked this morning. Since then I have added a 10 inch toadstool to the bottom as well as a pair of yellow wrasses and a Kole tang from my system.
Anyways....
The stand is a very dark brown color. The rockwork is actually a massive arch (tho it is hard to see). Hopefully you can see several of the corals we have added so far.
What a great project. My oldest son visited OU Childrens hospital for some testing and scans when he was 13 months old, and we thought he had hydrocephalus. I wish I had something to share.
Facinated is the word. The tank didnt cycle. The rock had all sat in one of my sumps for a month, so it was fully cured and full of bacteria. The cycle of the sand will be insignificant and the LR will deal with it.
The tank, even in its infancy is constantly surrounded.
Paul, i have 2 very large toadstool leathers attached to one rock you are welcome to. it looks like there are mostly frags, so i would like to donate something of considerable size. each leather is about 6" across, they may make a great host for clowns. just let me know if you would like them.
just let me know when a good time to meet would be. if you will be working next week, i would love to drive them to norman and see the tank!!! dont know if that is a possibility
