Asking for Donations. Reef at OU Children's Hospital.

I want to thank everyone that passed me corals for the tank last night. Because of you all the tank is really taking shape. As I was looking at it today I noticed that the first corals I added have already encrusted, thats inside two weeks....so its doing well.

Here are a few pictures I took today. They were taken on my phone, so not really good, but it will give you an idea, and maybe you can spot the coral you donated.

On behalf of all the occupants of the new Children's I really thank you.

P.

I just wanted to say this is a great thing that has been done by great people. I wish there where more people like the whole lot of you in this world it would make it a better place. Thank you and keep up the great work.

I'm glad your posting pics Paul as I have not even set foot in the new building yet. Amazing what flu/rsv season will do for ones spare time in pediatric respiratory.

I have a couple of misbar blacks you could have for the tank. That way they do not get fed to the frogfish.

Teresa,

That would be great. I will now go look for a nice looking Sebae for them to play in.

Here are a few updates:

I added a bunch of large corals this weekend, heres how the tank looks now.

The tank is a major talking point and is constantly being viewed by visiting kids.

That's really awesome.

I've seen lots of tanks in doctors offices, but not like this one.

Super job

An update:

In january I asked if anyone would care to donate corals to a Tank in the new Children's hospital.

The picture above is how the tank looked in January.

Thanks to the generosity of the COMAS members the tank was soon stocked and thriving.
I took these pictures a few days ago:

AS you can see... the corals have literally took off and the tank looks great.
The downside of it looking so nice is the constant requirement for cleaning sticky fingerprints from the front glass all the time. The kids absolutely love this tank.

Once again, thanks to everyone who donated to this tank.

Awesome,

My neice works in physical therapy and says the kids are always asking to go see the fish tank
