Assistance in lights

I have a canopy on my tank which only allows me approximately 6 inches of clearance. I am in search of lights for corals that will be strong enough for a 72x24x24. Was looking at the Mars aqua but don't have the extra cash to spend in building a new canopy also construction of my canopy really wont work well since the holes in top of canopy will have to be cut and placed in rear. Does anyone have any experience with fluval sea marine and reef 2.0 leds.

How about a canopy pic? You'll most likely have to cut/modify at least some portion if you canopy is completely sealed around the rim of the tank. Power cords and heat will need places to go. The best bet may be a black box set and hanging them inside the canopy. My set up is that way.

Here is one picture for some reason can't get the rest loadedq

Two options IMO. Thin set of LED's or a taller canopy. How does that canopy open? Does a section of the front fold back, or just the face swings up?

Had to download a photo size app. But here is picture from interior. As you can see the hinges in the middle where the canopy folds over too. At this time if I go and build new canopy my wife probably would kill me in my sleep. So need some strong thin led strips that will work for corals.

I'm in the same boat, I was away for a few years only to come back and see that nothing has changed and the Chinese black box LEDs are still the dominant value lighting with everything else costing $300+ for one fixture.

I figured by now prices would have dropped and I could light my 125g with a slim controllable led for $300-$400 but I guess allot of manufacturers gave up on the aquarium side of things due to not enough business.

I have custom made 6' LED tubes for sale that would fit in there no problem. They are less than an inch in diameter.

These tubes are 30w each and you can buy them individually. The lighting depth would just mean you would need more tubes. I wouldn't use them on a SPS tank though.
