ATI Powermodule Hybrid Club

ATI Powermodule Hybrid Club

Anyone ever experience their light not following their schedule? For example my 1st set of T5 lamps should come on at 9 and off at 21:00. I noticed they were on at 5 am this morning. Right when I made the program also it was about 10am and those bank of T5s never turned on even though they should have been on by 9am. My clock is set correctly.

Also isn't it supposed to hold the time in a power outage? Mine doesn't.

I think depends on the duration of the power outage, it resets the lamp to some other time. Not entirely sure about the time it resets to, but noticed that happens if I turn the lamp off for a few minutes to replace the bulbs. It's an annoying issue for sure.

Now it's dimming the bulbs when I have it to run 100% all day. They should stay at 100% until they shut off. Any ideas on what I can do to get this thing to work?

Mine came out of the box with a bad control box and ATI eventually sent me a good one which fixed my problems. Contact ATI to help with your issues.

I have spoken to ATI directly now (I have a shop in the UK) and there is compatibly issues with Windows 10..... see here for ATI's email to me.....

Dear Tony,

we got the information from a few customers already and our software development is just trying to solve this but it looks like this is a driver issue from Windows 10 as they have a problemm with the virtual COM port.

It looks like we have to wait for a windows update in worst case.

Mit freundlichen Grüßen / With best regards
Tony,

im having the same problem, just bought a new laptop and cant get it to connect to the lamp. It shows the USB connect but not the lamp. This is a real bummer hope they fix it quick.

Think you will find many other aquatic devices that hook up to PCs are similarly affected, like GHL Profilux etc. We have to wait for Microsoft to issue new driver updates.

a very clear no!
ati hat's times promised, but does not believe this to keep promises.
The best example .. new LED cluster for easy exchange itself.

Hello all , I was wondering if anyone has the 48 inch PM with 8 x 54 over a 180 gallon tank and if I could see some pictures ? I may get this light but not before I s over a tank . I thought a 60 inch would be better but looking at the ATI site I see they say this light will be good for a 180 . Thanks in advance

So I have had my 60 powermodule running for several months have been messing with settings for leds have not found exactly right settings I like yet. I would like to see some of your light setups so I can compare to mine maybe I am missing something. The light seems kind of dull looking throughout my whole schedule. During peak hours is ok but mainly sunrise and sunset when t5s are not on

I have this light over my 205G which measures 52 X 34 and it is just right. Tank is predominantly SPS and acro growth is awesome. I will hopefully take some pictures over the weekend and post.

PM me your email address and I can send you my file.

So my tubes are getting up to a year old and I fancy a slight change. I think my tank is a little blue right now, so whilst I like the blue, I'd like to make the colours a bit crisper if that makes any sense.

I'm currently running this combo

Thinking of this, would this still be very blue ? Any suggestions ?

Try replacing one Actinic bulb with a Pink/Purple bulb and replace 2 Coral+ with 2 Giesemann Aquablue Azure. That will definitely give you a more white crisp look. Also try this thread http://reefcentral.com/forums/showthread.php?t=2096816 for great info on T5s.

Why not just shift your LEDs to a whiter setting? I think The bulbs are still good, but I don't fall into the camp of "replace T5s every 9-12 months". I'm more in the 15-18 month realm for but change (have been for many years)

I am still wondering if the 48 inch 8 bulb with 3 x 75 can cover a 6ft tank Otherwise I will just get the 8 bulb 60 inch all T5 due to price point

The short answer is no if you doing mainly SPS. You will have sparse coverage on edges of the tank and would have a lot of shadows in those areas unless you planning to keep low light corals there. Also the LEDs don't have that much spread since the clusters don't go to the lamp's edge. You better off with a 60". I have a 48" over my 52" tank and probably could have gone to 56" but stretching it for LED coverage. Even now I'm considering supplemental Reef Brites. T5 coverage would likely be ok.

Hello, I just received this fixture and for some reason I cannot get the LED channels to turn on. I have the 8 x 80w T5 and 4 x 75w LEDs. They used to turn on when I was doing the demo mode, now I loaded my first Lamp Setting and they do not turn on, not even when I do the demo mode.

Any ideas? I have them set to be on and cannot even get them to turn on with the color preview or day preview options.
