ATI Powermodule Hybrid Club

Thank ryan

In which case another combination is the suggested by ATI

2xB+ 1xC+ 1xP+

is the purple plus tube worth considering or does it not 'grow' sps much and is only for colour?
They all grow coral IME. Growth is more tied into stable parameters and available food IMO

I just bought two of the ati 8x t5 led power modules 48 inch cant find any instructions worth a $hit anywhere, what temperature are these lights supposed to be running at?

Kind of a dumb question, but.. Does dimming the T5 bulb/LED save electrical cost?

I may switch to an energy plan that doesnt use electricity between 2-8. So im debating to turn off T5 completely or leave it at 20%

Im in the same boat.. Haha. I dont think you need to change that. Just use the chart to ramp your led and t5.

Youtube has a decent user video explaining each function

A little disappointed with the product. I mean u sell a 2000 dollar piece of equipment and no instructions. Tempted to return them.

The system controls the fans depending on how hot it gets. I wouldn't worry what the temps are unless the system is shutting down from over heating and the fans can't keep up.

I have it in my basement and I am northern va in January and my house temp is set to 65 i had to open a window yesterday because the room was so hot, is this normal. because the video from brs said its a little warm but this seems a bit more than a little warm

How many watts are you running total?

I have no idea honestly because there are no instructions. I am running the t5s full blast per something i saw online . which said u must run the t5s full blast for 50 hours before dimming. So I am actually running only half the t5s at a time till i can dim them

What size fixtures do you have? I know they're 48" but are they the 8 bulb or 4 bulb?

They are the 8 t5 bulb with the led hybrid 3 led clusters each fixture. Thanks for the help
So at full power you're talking roughly 1300 watts. With half the T5 running at one time it is roughly 700-800 watts with full LEDs. Let's say for easy numbers you're running 500 watts at one time with LEDs dimmed.

Go get a 500w space heater and turn it on for 10-12 hours and see what the room does.

So what should I do, or how do i mitigate the heat, just by dimming and using only partial of the t5'slike I am? so I called ATI and the guy says my two units are different model years or something like that not very helpful.going to call brs tomorrow and see what they have to say

Not really it needed to be updated and after the update you can't make adjustments to the time from the computer you have manually input time Keith is going to talk to the engineering and try to find out what is going on

I'm going to make the jump from (2) Kessil 360's to a PM, but need some advice on the specific PM model.

I've got a 36x24x16 tank with mainly SPS. I'm planning on getting the 36" PM model, but am wondering if the 4 bulb will be enough or if I need to spend the extra cash for the 8 bulb? I'm thinking the 4 bulb may be adequate speaking the tank is only 16" deep.

Any advice will be much appreciated!!

4 bulb will be plenty with that depth. You can raise the fixture for better spread and still have plenty of PAR

Currently Running the below with no red LED lights. Was just thinking that I could run red LEDs to maybe 10% (intensity max is only 35% right now) instead of purple+. I would swap the existing P+ for another Actinic and maybe shift both Actnics outwards in the configuration. I could increase white/Red from LEDs. Thoughts? If I have a PAR shortage in middle, I could always up my white light during midday.
