ATI Powermodule Hybrid Club

looking at a 60 inch 8 bulb for our 72 inch tank... how do you guys like these? seems like I cant make up my mind on which direction to go for new lighting. Im coming from three radion gen twos. So far I have looked into radion gen 4 pros, keep the gen twos and buy that aquatic life t5 hybrid that you can mount your radions into oooor the 60 inch ATI powermodule hybrid

I went with the 60" 8 lamp over my 72" tank. Its awesome. The leds cover the tank nicely by themselves. Its about 10" off the water.

Any body sell Ati 60" Hybrid 8bulbs ???

The 80w LED Powermodule ships on a pallet so none of our dealer network stocks the product since shipping it twice on a pallet does not make any sense. Any ATI Dealer can order it for you, but it would ship directly from our distributor in S. California.

Where is this distributor in so cal? Can I just go there and buy a light form them instead of having to order it online?

Just got my new Powermodule hybrid, a 24" wifi version. Curious to see that the LED presets seems to have changed with the new version? I'm no longer able to see the preset "bulb settings" as in for example B+, ABS, P+, C+ etc, but only Violet, B, RB, W, etc. Is this due to the new version or am I not looking hard enough?

If, as I suspect, this is due to the new version of LEDs using different colors, anyone have a good setting, or maybe multiple different settings to emulate different bulbs? (Or combinations of bulbs like the old B+/AB?)

/On another note/

Just noticed that all four of my T5's (Running them 0%/100% as they're burning in, no dimming atm) "shimmered" or "glowed" once I set the led's to turn off completely.
I do not know if they did this before, while the LED's were on, as I didn't pay attention to it. Looks almost like they were lit at a few %. If it was only one of the pair I'd suspect stray voltage in the ballast, but both ballasts? (T5's had been "off" for at least 3-4h before I noticed this...)

I turned the light off at the socket to prevent them from doing that all night and probably destroying the bulbs, will see what happens upon startup tomorrow... (Shutting it off at the socket resulted in the bulbs turning off completely)

Would really appreciate insight on this.

If you still have the ATI Light Studio software on your computer you can use the same numbers to get a very similar output. For example the Blue Plus is:
Red 0 (you no longer have red, so you should be able to match this exactly)
Royal 255
Blue 132
White 90
UV probably start off low, like 10% to add a little pop.

I think unplugging it is the right move. I would suggest saving your program, doing a factory reset using a paperclip in the hole near the Ethernet port and try running the default program prior to loading yours and see if you still have the same issue. If you do have the same issue I would recommend taking some photos and providing them to your dealer for support.

Thanks for the help Keith, I'll try that! :)

Could you please post some pics of your new unit?

Leds are barely on in the last photo, but burning T5's in on 100%. We'll see if I use this bulb combo or if I replace a C+ with another B+

Tank is 30x20x14

I just noticed the new wifi version of lights have 3x new presets, full spectrum, max floures., best power mix.

I have the wired version and these presets are not in the software.

Could somebody kindly tell me how the presets are made?

Best power mix = V-? B-? RB-? W-?
Max floures. = V-? B-? RB-? W-?
Full Spectrum = V-? B-? RB-? W-?

Check out 8020.net, it appears to made from it.

That's a really nice mount for the light.
Can you give me some details about it?

Yep, it is 80/20. 10 series. I removed the wire hanging kit and installed some stainless screws in it's place. I then drilled the 80/20 mounting arms for the screws, and... Viola!!! Light was mounted

Here are a few shots from when I was setting it up...
