Wanted to get the experts opinions on this topic. My canopy is semi open top (approx 3/5 of it is open) and open back. For now I dont want to hang my 8x54 power module from my cieling or use wall brackets or anything like that.
I want to hang the fixture inside of my canopy. All of the fans would be completely unblocked. The vent from the bulb side would have a couple inches of clearance. Do you think heat would be an issue? Im not really worried about heating the water since i have a chiller. Im more worried about the possibly shortening the life of the unit because of inadequate ventilation.
What do you guys think?
