that is a nice fish.. I didn't realize they were colored diff as juviniles. The ones I have seen look just like a yellow tang except they are blue...

CF has one in their upstairs display. Shotgunshrimp had one. The Ontario Science Centre has a large one. They get big. They can be aggressive. How long have you had them, Joe?

i had one for awhile but gave it away.. he just had started to turn into his adult colors too..

i've had the first one since february. the second about two weeks. i think they are great fish. i saw them in carribean in january and fell in love . there are large schools there and they are all different colors.
i plan on building a ten foot tank. similar to kents. that should give the ABTs and my hippo plenty of room to swim.

i know what you mean gary. my three tangs school . its great fun to watch. they have voracious appetites. its hard to keep enough seaweed in the tank.

apic of my hippo.

I've seen the tangs and the older one seems to be taking on a more olive hue which makes me wonder if its going through the "change". Joe, be sure to post pic of the progress.

i have one on hold at CF, beginng him/her home this weekend.

how long does it take to get the nice yellow and blue rim? depending on the fish?

Nice picture I just got back from cancun and I want snorking with a bunch of blue ones just like them. They where 2 feet long and moved 20 feet in second. I would feel bad putting them in a tank.
