Atlantic blue tangs

Does anyone have an Atlantic Blue tang? I haven't seen any pictures or people talking about them. Are they aggressive? Are they good additions to a reef? Do you have pictures of juvi's and adults?

i am actually thinking about adding one to my tank, not as readily available as some of the other tangs.. as juveniles(yellow coloration) they are very aggressive so i am hoping to get an older one to avoid that.

I have had one for three weeks now. It still has some yellow in the body. Eats everything and is very active. I have not had time to take a picture. I would make sure you get a healthly one, that is eating at the store. I QT him for two weeks. Likes to swim in and out of the rocks. Make sure there are lots of places for him to hide.

Not to many people talk abou this fish. It is a real sleeper, IMO.

I'm thinking that same thing. I haven't heard of to many people talking about them. I want something different.

ALso I don't an aggressive fish either.

etropicals has them and great price. i have never ordered through them but they are affiliated w/live aquaria and the divers den so i wouldn't hesitate to order from them.

here you go about 5" and still juvie colors

This fish is on the short list for my 220. I'd like a juvi to start.

I had not read anywhere that juvis are aggressive any more thoughts on that?

They stay small for a tang - not purple small though. They are pretty peaceful for a tang provided that you feed them adequately and give them enough room.

They are a nice fish.

Definately a fish to add if you have space I use to have one for a while and he was not aggresive at all toward the other fish.

You see them all the time diving in the Carribean so I don't think they have a problem with typical reef tank temps.
