I saw these on Atlantis's site and I was wondering if anyone had purchased frags. If you have, are they really that awesome? Post pics if you've got them

i didn't get them from atlantis in ca, but i believe them to be the same

i would find out what lighting they have, and would bet the zoas will look less glowing under anything but 20k

thanks, i thought the same thing. they actually had four different rocks of these at the lfs, i got mine for 35.

They are just PRPE's and PPE's. Remember Atlantis has EXTREEMLY high lights so colors come out insane in their tank.

Yeah, unfortunately I see that happen a lot with not just zoos. Colors are highlighted with certain lights. Our eyesight sees the colors different than how cameras may take the colors as well. It's really best to see them in real life or to ask like this thread starter.

Zoanthids in CA are also way overpriced right now

Yeh, I know... happened with my first zoo purchase. But didn't think a site would do the same, oh well... They are still amazing looking so i'll probably pick them up. As far as them being expensive... you should come to my LFS where its like $100 for a 10 polyp dragon eye frag.

I bought the first ones (midnights) and they dont look anything like the pic. The pic looks black and blue in the middle. Mine look grey and I have them under a 400W 20000k. They are still cool though.

Hey everyone. I have both but I got them from a LFS. PM me if you want frags.

Pics taken with flash so the colors are somewhat washed out. They're under a 150W DE 14K Phoenix. Also, the Orange skirted ones aren't speckled in the center like they show with a flash.
