ATO Not Working

My ATO isn't working. Not really sure what the deal is but the sensor that is in the sump (not the RODI) isn't working. It was last night. I've unplugged everything, cleaned, etc... but neither do anything regardless of the mode it's in. I'm not sure if it's the float switch or the unit itself. It was working last night

Any thoughts? Should I just pitch it? I don't have my receipt and I don't know how long I've even had it.

Thoughts???

If you have a volt meter it should be fairly easy to check if the switch is working. Just cut the wires somewhere before the unit and check them for continuity.

Depending on whether the switch is normally open or closed you should get continuity in one of the positions but not the other.

The good thing is that it won't be live so no chance of juicing yourself Justin.

You can get a volt meter for almost free at Radio Shack and checking continuity is about as easy as it gets.

Grow some stones man!:D

If I get a chance, I know how to do that and I could run by tomorrow after I wake up very late. Come on over and drink!! If the switch is easily removed, bring it. Logik(Mike) is coming over w/his gf. We bought a car yesterday and you can check it out too.

He's probably lucky if he can flip himself over today.

I need a quieter keyboard, this one is too loud.

Yeah, feeling a bit rough around the edges. Had to get up early and then drive out to washington. Just got back and I'm sitting on my butt now
