ATO with no sump

I have a 70 gal tank with no sump. I like to keep my water level at about the middle of the top frame. All of the ATOs I've seen use sensors that are designed to mount lower in the sump which is not full. This means that if they are in my tank, my water level would have to be lower than I want it. Is there a way to use an ATO with the setup I have?

Sure.. Just modify/raise the brackets as needed...

I use a tunze ato on my DT, and the water level is just above the bottom of the top frame. In other words, I can't see the water level in my DT.

Thank you for this link! I placed an order with them for a lot less than other systems I looked at. This looks like it's going to work for my setup.

Ill be using the Tunze osmolator on my tank with a 5g bucket of rodi as storage.
