Attaching mushrooms

Any suggestions on how I can attach some mushrooms to some of my rock. I got a few from a friend yesterday that I pulled off of the glass and off of a rock, so they aren't attached to anything. I've got them sitting in a corner of my tank with some rubble around them, but it doesn't seem to be working quite yet. Any suggestions? I used to know this stuff but have been out of the hobby for 3 years.

Use netting, bridal veil, bag from oranges, etc. and wrap it around the rock with the mushroom on the rock. Leave it there a week.

You could take a needle and fishing line and run it through the bottom of the mushroom and tie it to the rock. It works for me :)

You can also get a plastic toothpick, push it through the srooms foot, then superglue one end ov the toothpick to a rock. leave it for 1-2 weeks until the mushroom atatches then pop off the toothpick with a butterknife and pull it out.

use some rumble from your live rock and put them in a plastic lid
of some sort cover with neting and let sit for two weeks they will attach them selfs.

I let them attach to some kinda gravel or whatever, and then superglue whatever pebbles they are attached to onto a bigger rock or somewhere in the tank.

what i do is take a empty plastic bottle place some live rock rubble in it place it in the tank let it attach and remove the plastic once it attaches

I made something for attaching frags that works like a charm, it's reuseable, easy to use, and never damages a frag. I took a piece of 1"PVC and depending what I'm using it for, 1/4" for zoas and 1/2" for shrooms, etc, and cut it into sections. then I take a piece of fiberglass window screen cut to the same size as the PVC and glue it over one end. Now all you have to do to attach a frag is place the frag on a plug or a rock, put the PVC over it, screen side up, and rubberband it in place. The frag sits in the cage until it attaches itself with no pressure on it at all. After it attaches, remove the rubberband and lift the PVC cage off of it. They work great for anything slimy and hard to glue especially and won't cut into a coral like rubberbands or fishing line. You can make dozens of them for less than $5.
