Attack of the Killer Clowns?

Hey guys,

Ok, I have a mated pair of gold band maroon clowns hosting in a green bubble tip anemone that recently split. I introduced a school of 5 blue/green chromis yesterday. This morning before I left the house all was well, and they were doing their schooling thing. I got home this evening and the school is GONE. OMG, there is not a chromis in sight. No dead bodies, nothing, GONE.

Did my clowns pick off my chromis and feed them to the anemones???

Has anyone heard of such a thing happening?

Many of my clowns will "feed" cleaner shrimp and small fish to their anemones. Wiped out whole batches.

You might also want to check overflows, the floor, the sump, the pump intakes, etc. Most clowns end up chasing fish out of the tank.

The other thing to consider, chromis can and will go quite deeply into the rocks and change color a bit....they are quite tough to see in that situation.
