Welcome back! Were you on a cruise to Cozumel? I find the port of entry to be a scary place, dudes with machine guns = spooky.

I never let them bother me, the last thing they want to do is shoot a tourist. It would be bad for tourism ;)

Here is a link to my snorkeling pics in Cozumel.

We only got to do one snorkel the whole time. It was very windy and visibility was not the best. All pics were taken with a olympus sylus 1030SW camera.

Anyway here are two pics of seperate massive nests. Not sure but they may be sergeant major eggs. I can't even imagine how many eggs where on each nest. my guess is 10,000+

Purchased two diamond gobies tonight. I have put them in a quarantine tank. I will be adding them to my DSB tank as it is just collecting detrius. I'm hoping they can start to move the water around the sand. As of yet it does not seem to be functioning at all.

OCP1 batch X should hatch tomorrow night.

GSM batch VII was transferred tonight. Not sure when they were laid but they look about ready.

OCP3 batch VI is on the pot. No idea when it was laid.

My rots have exploded. All three 5 gal buckets crashed at one point. I just left them and kept adding a bit of instant algae to keep the water green. During my vacation two of them have exploded. Never seen them that thick before. Hopefully I can keep them going.

I am going out of town again this weekend for Easter. My fish sitter will be by probably Friday Saturday and Sunday. I only have one open tank (blue round tub) at the moment for hatching. GSM batch VII is in it currently and should hatch tonight. I am expecting OCP1 batch to hatch tomorrow night. So tomorrow I might move the tile into the same tank with GSM batch VII. I suppose it is better than not attempting to raise them at all. My sitter is more the capable of feeding rots to them and keeping the water green. I told her not to worry about water changes. Just keep the water level constant.

I have 5 alive from OCP1 batch IX. All have first strip and most are starting their second with one complete already. This is the first batch I have had get past meta in a long time. Hopefully I can get them really going again.

I just had 2 of my 3 cultures crash. Its weird. I split my good one and they are now recovering.. Rots are harder than the fish sometimes lol.

Good luck with the new hatches.

Isn't that the truth.

Some of my GSM's hatched last night although I have yet to see any of them swimming. Still a little too green!

The guy at Reed's said they're indestructible ! I must be ordering the wrong rot's. LOL

Not to jinx myself but I must have gotten the batch of indestructible ones

Haven't fed the larval tank any phyto for days now, big water change still got rots galore.

FB, have you raised any GSM's yet ?

Nope. Day 6 is my best.

So before my trip I transferred GSM batch VII. Probably 100 hatched the day I left. I returned home and none where alive. I think my sitter confused my instructions feed rots to a different tank. Oh well. I did not add OCP1 batch X to this tank as I ran out of time. They hatched in the DT.

I found another baby in OCP1 batch IX so I now have a total of 6. All have their second stripe and they seem to be growing well. They are now 24 days old.

GSM batch VIII is currently on the pot. Looks like they were laid on Monday or Tuesday.

OCP3 batch VII is currently on the pot. Looks like they were also laid on Monday or Tuesday.

Still waiting on OCP1 batch XI.

I'm really wanting my B&W pair to start laying soon. ARGH!

Both Diamond gobies are doing well in quarantine. They are beside each other all the time. I'm wondering how they pair up.

If the gobies are hanging out together, and not opposite ends of the tanks, they have paired up ;)
