I had sponges all over my live rock so he had very little shock when he was in my aquarium. I also supplemented him with the fresh caulerpa every day, I find it helps ward off ich.

Is it typical for them to develop the streamer even in home aquaria? Does it look like that is what is happening to mine?

Mine did. Although I wasn't looking at it that closely when it first started growing.

How aggressive is yours?

Pretty aggressive. I've seen some emperors nice as a puppy dogs and others just chasing anything.
