oh... and thanks to a fellow forumer :D I got some fire and ice zoo's and a nuke green toadstool... not pictured, =/ :D but they're doing good
 
pretty happy so far... coming along as planned. :D can't wait to get my other set!!! glad to finally get some SPS in there... :D
 
Wow dude!!! I remember when you and your dad were just starting to cut the hole in the wall for the tank. :thumbsup:
 
i know right, im only seriously like a little over a month in,,, i think im going to chill for a while... im broke now. :)
 
thanks, the pics dont even show 1/4 of how good they look, the in person look is so impressive....

when I first plugged them in (never ran halides before) it was yellow and dim as heck, and I was like ? really ? ... lol,, then it started turning a crisp blue instantly im like w000t and now its amazing looking, im running for 10 hours a day,,, heats my water up real bad ,,,, added the fan, cools the water real bad.... heater controller comes tomorrow, hopefully work something out....
 
its like ^^^ down ^^^ down,,, need it stable, Im going to run the heater on the ranco coming tomorrow,,, and then my dads getting me a controller tomorrow for the fan, so if it goes above say 80? the fan will kick on high...
 
How's the radiums's going? Just heard that they don't do well on electronic ballasts and wanted to hear first hand from you (hopefully i'm not disappointing you). looks like XM's for me :p
 
Looks amazing... Certainly my favorite halide bulb I've ever seen in person... Colors pop so good, and yet its not TOOO Blue at all, like everyone makes them out to be, I mean yes its blue, I like it though, but its not ridiculous. Corals pop wonderfully. :D Huge Fan! I can't wait to get my 2nd.
 
I've looked at so many different forums and websites from people pairing the icecap e-ballasts and radiums and all positive reviews... :) and I'm one of those positive reviews myself now :D
 
haven't updated in forever, will post some pics tomorrow,,,, have a bunch of algae growing,,,, well on the walls at least finally, and I have flatworms out the you know what... so... kind of at a stand still, but some new goodies :D
