Okay, I've had an auto top off system with two float switches for about a year now. I had it set up to where the second switch would keep the system in check incase the first switch got stuck in the on position. Well looking back at it, the first switch was stuck on about a month (something looked weired but because I had the two switches fairly close together, it looked okay), and the second switch failed dumping about 5 or so gallons in at once. My S.G. went from 1.026 to 1.023 and from what I can see everything is okay.
So, what float switches do you use for you auto top off system, how long have they been working? Any brand recomendations?
