Can someone tell me the configuration for this on a R/O unit. I can never figure these things out and they cause me so many problems. TIA

There should be markings on the top --IN & OUT
1 goes in the waste line the other is from the membrane to the DI unit with good water.
Mine is the same top & bottom, no difference in the fittings.
Yours looks like 1 side is shorter in length.

Sediment/Carbon filter -> IN OUT -> RO Membrane (side with the drain).
RO Out -> IN OUT -> DI Resin
