Hello!
I have a trio of Evansi Anthias which I purchased from the Live Aquaria diver's den. They're doing well - but I'm looking for a way to ensure their long term health. I'm currently feeding them cylops, rod's reef food, and frozen Hikari and PE mysis. They eat it all =)
Right now I'm manually feeding them several (4+) times a day - however, I do go to work during the day and so they go for 8 hours or so without food.
I've noticed that they love freeze dried cyclops, which I suppose could be auto fed using a feeder... and that brings up my question.
I need a feeder which can feed many times during the day - I'm looking at 5 or 6 small feedings over the 8 hours I'm away at work. So I need a feeder that's programable to feed small amounts of tiny food (cyclops, etc) several times.
The feeders I've looked at so far seem to only be able to feed 3, maybe 4 times during the day.
I have an aquacontroller that I could use to control a feeder, if it came to doing something like that.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to the best way to keep adding small amounts of food to my water column for my evansi anthias? I have a fuge that's reasonably productive, but I don't want to rely on that.
