I know there are not many out there yet but just picked up this amazing frag and want to see others!

Green body, blue/purple tips, red/white polyps

That is a mother colony to some people lol. Looks nice for sure! All i have seen so far are colorless specs.

Not mine, but one of the nicest I have ever seen. Sadly it was lost. Another South Florida reefer has one, but I cannot find the picture.

Nice size frag.I got one recently, but it is much smaller about 1/2 in. It is encrusting already and coloring up.I love the multicolored polyps on this coral.

That is not the same acro at all

I'm scared to think what that sized frag would have cost of the avengers.

Those very well could be the same accros m8. I dont know if it is, but I do know I wouldn't be able to make that call from a photograph. Anyone who thinks they can hasnt seen a lot of corals in different environments. I have certainly have seen at least that much difference in pieces that i know are the same but placed in different systems. You would be surprised at how different these pieces can look when subject to different systems.

I have seen the mother colony. I wouldn't sound so definite if I wasnt sure.

They just look way different....not even close.

I have a piece of the coral from the same mother colony. The one that I have has changed it's color combination to blue tip yellow body with red polyp.

side note, I also have seen the mother colony and am 100% it's different compare to the other mother colony that was posted.

I posted the image thinking "Comic Book Super Hero's" when I read Avengers, my fault, shouldn't let my geek leak so easily

The 2 colonies definitely have different growth pattens, and are not the same. The OP's image has a growth pattern very similar to the acropora acuminata and cervicornis. The image I posted has the growth pattern of the acropora cerealis.

Sorry for any confusion
