Is that the cheap flexible "bilge" pipe from the hardware store behind you tank connecting the overflows? If it is, a word of caution, I used that stuff and after about 2 years noticed it cracking apart in my sump where it was under water. When I went to remove and replace it it literally crumbled into little pieces........

Maybe you already replaced it and I just missed that post.

Ive been frustrated with the GFO..... thats the biggest money sucker...and doesnt keep the phos down enough always....I cant keep changing it every week or so...
Possibly my rocks might be leaching

Ive been dosing Lanthanum for past 2-3 weeks and seems like Im seeing some promise.

Im thinking about dumping GFO...as a secondary in a media bag thrown in the sump... and going mainstream with Lanthanum dedicated reactor.....same BRS gfo/carbon reactor to convert to lanthanum....

Any body local any experience with it.

sps/lps wont survive.... and that freaky brown algae Sphacelaria on the top rocks wont leave the tank alone.
