that's correct. the first one is the ruby red. the 2nd were sold as 'red scooter blenny' a while ago. the ruby reds are new. rubys are way more red and have the yellow fins. male and female scooters have been known to fight.

I have both of them, this is a regular red scooter "bleeny"


And there is a ruby red in here

The rubies look somewhere between green/spotted/etc mandarins and scooters.
