(sarcasm) drove to faois on saturday (1 hr to and back) and they are closed. then drove to creative oceans (finz) ( 1 hr round trip) today and they were closed. what's the deal?


just wish they had left some kind of warning in the forums. i guess ive learned to call prior to leaving to make sure they're going to be open

from my understanding faois was closed for a few hours on sat due to a maintence issue that couldn't be resolved with customers in the store

My apologies to any one who was inconvenienced by my stores closure on Saturday. Sometimes events happen that are beyond our control and unfortunately one presented itself this weekend. While dealing with the ââ"šÂ¬Ã…"œclean upââ"šÂ¬Ã‚ it would have been impossible to assist customers and also safety issues were a concern. The store opened as soon as possible. Trust me, I would have much rather had a normal Saturday.

Finz will be closed on Sundays from now on. This started last week when the new ownership took over. I was in there on Saturday and they had just got in some nice Sps !

Hello everyone, I was reading what everyone wrote and like to add somethings about Finz of Tampa (AKA Creative Ocean)

While you are correct Creative Oceans did sell 2 weeks ago to Chris & Chris, they were only closed for one Saturday while they took out the 400gal display tank and added four 156gal custom tanks to hold their coral and rock.

They have some big plans for the store one is adding leather couches and a large plazma screen TV, as well re design the entire store.

The store hours are as follows:
Mon - Fri - 10am to 7pm
Sat. 10am to 6pm
Sun. Closed

I have known the new owners for sometime now as they where employed by Creative Ocean. Both Chris's have over 50 years expereince combined, and are two people you would like to sit down with and ask questions.

I am not trying to sell them on you, as I have been to Icky & Sticky things in Oldsmar and like very much what they have to offer as well.

Yeah, I stopped by FAOIS on Saturday and saw the closed for maintenance sign. I thought Saturday was a strange day to be closed for maintenance. I did not realize it was unplanned.

John, sorry to hear you had something go wrong with your equipment. I hope all of your stock is doing well.
