AZ FRAG meeting June 15th, Fragging Demo

That's right. It's time for a second AZ FRAG meeting for the month of June. :dance:

We will be meeting at the regular place Pranksters Gar and Brill Too at the same time 2pm. This meeting will be sponsored by Reef Monster, which is located at 4460 East Main Street Suite 120 Mesa, AZ 85205. We will get to learn from the pros on the art of fragging and propagating our corals. During the demo there will be plenty of fresh cut frags to be brought home for FREE to those who attend. Yes I said it, FREE frags.

There will also be a raffle for Thrive and Coral Rx products, and some other goodies. Tickets as always $1 each or $5 gets you six tickets.

As some of you know I have been reaching out to get some artwork done for the name tags and website. We have had such a great response to this we will turn this into a contest starting at this meeting. The rules and prizes will be announced at this meeting. Then we will vote for the winners on the July meeting.

Wanted to say "Hi" to all the AZ FRAG folks. I don't often post on this forum, but read it daily. I unfortunately have to work every other Saturday, so I have not been able to make a club meeting; I also couldn't go to the Aquarius tour last weekend, either...

Will the fragging folks be videotaping their demo, perhaps for YouTube, or posting here? I have been wearing out YouTube watching videos to learn on this very subject! I would really like to see this, but will busy working...

We can. We are doing a "wondering" meeting two weeks after every PROP auction. The last one was at The Aquarius this last weekend. Shane did an Open House for his reef in Maricopa also.

So if you think there is a good spot (preferably aquarium related) in that area we can do one of these mini-meetings. If there are a few of you reefers in Gilbert that would like to show off your reef systems, maybe we can organize a Parade of Aquariums.

Yeah, we really underestimated the size of the crowd. better bigger than smaller I guess.

I like the many angles of shots idea zibba. I will bring a camera as well and offer up my footage after if someone has editing capabilities. This sounds like a great meeting.

On a side note; I have a few palys frags up for grabs, (actually just want beer money). Pandoras 4 polyps $10 and Mindblowing palys 4-6 polyps $15. They aren't in an easy spot to get a pic, but will try.
