Well, I aquired 3 new ones, with two babies for a total of five. I'm in the process of monitoring them and getting them to feed. I'll get some pictures up. One of them is a green based purple/red/orange and some faint pink here and there. Red/purple predominate to give it a plum color. One is a green/deep purple base with peach color. And the last is a rainbow, huge, monster. Uh, red stripes, some kind of brown purple color stripes, teal base with a lime green ring along the outside edge. Probably 4-4.5 inches across. Has a baby thats the size of a nickel or quarter underneath. I wish my other Yumas could get to this size in a hurry. Its spectacular. Its more like a fungia plate coral.

As for deaths, so far only new stuff in the last several weeks. I lost the one from this thread. A neon green rim with grape koolaid middle. And my green blue and purple all melted down. They were all new. They all came in sick and I just couldn't make it work. So far my long term buds are still all with me. *knock on wood*

That sucks on the deaths, I have 2 new ones that were sent as future trade and/or freebies which ever I choose. They are doing good, everything else is doing good just that one I have for about a year quite sad really.....All floridas are doing great as well....

I did find a new product for infections that is an add on from another product line. Melafix which is for fish illness well they have now a Melafix marine which is for new fish and corals that show signs of infection. It says you can dose the whole tank if need be and is not harmful to inverts.....I am thinking of buying some to try out or have on hand just incase.....I think though the pink one was started by the shrimp which I am about to feed to my elegance.....It has turned into a real pest.

I think I might have found the culprit on the pastel pink....I think I have a Eucnid/Bobbitt worm in my tank. I picked up the rock it was on and attached to it was a tube that went from the live rock to the rock the yuma was on. So last night I did some night watching and I do believe I seen the sucker. I don't have any fire or bristle worm in my tank as my pseudochromis has taken them all out......I haven't seen it out so far tonight but I am on the hunt now......I also found out my tank Ca was at 260 so I am not sure the effect that might have. I did bring it back up to around 380 now and all mt rics of both kinds do seem to be better along with my LPS.....Might want to check your Ca although I don't think that would be an issue it might be since it was way low......

.... Slice him up and feed him to your Acans! If you have any. What Pseudochromis are you using? I used to have an Arabian for that task. I loved that little guy. He wound up going into a Tunze Turbelle Stream 6060 older model without a front grill. I was doing maintenance and had it turned off. So he was in there when I turned it on. Now I have an Orchid Dottyback. I have come to love Pseudochromis species. Plus I switched to Hydors. Much easier on the rics and push more water.

So here is a few shots of one of my new babies. Eating!

And here is my new Plum colored one. Not very easy to get a decent photo. The substrate it is attached too is a loose conglomerate of rocks which makes for an unstable footing, which makes him mad and curly. Last night I superglued the largest rock he was attached to, to a big flat rock that I cut with a saw. Should make him slowly stabilize and spread out.

And here is a good shot of one of my Blaze Orange Yumas while it was eating.

Those are real nice....:). I have a Redhead Elegant and is constantly on the hunt. I can't find very many pods either.....No acans never got into those....I really like that first one, Liveaquaria.com had one that was absolutely stunning Super bright orange with bright green in like a camo strip pattern.....If I didn't have Flame wrasses coming this week I would have jumped on it instantly.......Glad to see you stuff doing well, one LFS here got in that Melafix marine for dips. I didn't get it yet but will when I get paid just in case and to add something else to the arsenal of failed attempts....If I use it I will let you know the out come but right now everything is looking great.
