B-ioinic concentrate........UUUUHHHHH!!!

BIGGUN

In Memoriam
WOW,..... just got the B-ionic concentrate and added a couple of ounces more RO water (275-280 instead of 266) to the Alk part and mixed and mixed and mixed and heated and mixed and mixed and UUUUUHHHHHed and mixed and then got bored with not being able to get the precipitate to mix out. So I figured I'd sit down here with my rubber like arms and type a little. I put the 5 gallon pail on the heater to let it sit over night and will start shaking again in the morning.

Has anyone else had this much fun with their's??

Thanks,
Kevin

If I were you, I'd suspect my RO water as being the problem. It is likely not as pure as you think, and by adding it to the alk portion, you caused the calcium (or whatever else was in your source water) to precipitate out.

I'd ask the same question to Randy in the Chemistry forum, if anyone knows, it's him.

Thanks Grim! Randy had the same problem.
There was already a clump of precipitate in the bottom of the concentrate. I was thinking that about the RO water also that's what had me scared. :)
It seems that after heating it and mixing it up everything has dissolved and has stayed dissolved so far.

Thanks for the tip,
Kevin
