Excuse me if this sounds like an insane question, but I was doing some reading about kalk dosing using a drip method and auto-topoff. I was curious if anyone has ever thought about trying to mix B-Ionic component a and b together in concentrated doses and adding them to a topoff resovoir for later addition for evaporation loss-similar to kalkwasser.
I know that ESV makes a doser but they separate solutions A and B into separate containers. Since we add both components into our aquariums would a concetrated dose (enough Ca and Alk for the entire tank for a weekly basis) work in maintaining proper levels? Or, upon mixing and storage, do these solutions become inactive?
