I have a baby anemone... I got him when it's stuck on a trachyphyllia brain coral that I bought two days ago, but it's moved yesterday and now is on one of my live rocks. It is no more than 1" in diameter.
Not sure what sp is it but it has milky white/ greenish tentacles and purple tip(?). It has brown body.
It is not exactly seeking light although at its current position it has enough exposure.
---
Now my concern is: it begins to close a couple of minutes ago and its mouth at the center seems protruding a little bit and there's this soft little thing no bigger than 1/4" (imagine 2-3 brine shrimps crumpled together) hanging on its mouth.
But now it begins to open up a little bit again although it is never fully opened.
Questions:
- Is this normal?
- Is the anemone healthy?
- What type of anemone is this?
