Baby Onyx clowns hatched tonight !!!!

Well after a nailbiting week of stress they hatched at 1am this morning the amazing thing is I caught all of them my guess somewhere aroug 150 to 200 still sweating !!! One of the coolest thing I have ever seem in over ten years of reefkeeping !!! Pics are coming soon !!

Well with the going rate of SA OnyxClowns Id say I might be able to pay a few bills ...lol wouldnt that be nice ..lol Let not count our clowns before they make it to week three then Ill start blowing my horn ...lol Its just cool to watch a few hundred clowns swimming around like lil bullets !!!
 
is that the tank your keeping em in? watch the bubbles thats a lot they can kill the fry. Black out the sides if that's the fry raising tank. How many you got this morning? Watch em closely today you want em swimming in the water column and eating if there against the glass that's no good. Add your phyto till the waters light green and they will leave the glass to swim and hunt the rots make sure the rots are dense enough so the fry caN BUMP INTO EM AT EVERY OPPORTUNITY. 2 rots per body length of fry. If that is the fry raising tank your gonna want to take some water out or its gonna be hard to get a good rotifer density without adding a ton of rots and green water. Watch the light there very sensitive to light the first couple days if you see em doing circles on the bottom it means the lights to bright. Watch your ammonia and nitirite levels closely and do lots of water changes accordingly. I know your gonna be good at this because i can tell by seeing your setup your a very experienced reefer its not hard just takes patience and time which you obviously have both :) Congrats man i didn't think there would be that many by seeing the size of the egg pile how did you get em out of the frag tank?
 
Those bubbles will kill the babies probably over night. Talk to The old c-sea president chuck. He can get you going with all the info you needs. He's breeding a ton of fish right now.

morning update ....well almost afternoon was a late night everyone looks good ..I did slow the bubbles down from the video it was lil chaotic trying to make sure everything was good and there were some overnight losses but from my readings that is gonna happen to some extent still have quite e few swimming and eating i would say 100 plus as of now this is my first crack at it so I am not expecting much if any success but well see
