In your first pic above is that hydroids on the glass? A few on the left side of the top imagelook like they could be but, its hard to tell in the pic.

No man those are baby brine in the water ...lol I dont feed my babies hydroids ...lol

I'd hope you weren't feeding them hydroids. Although they are related to jelly fish so maybe they come in grape, or strawberry flavors?

Would hydroids even bother clowns, or is it a non problem for fish rearing? I have a pair of clowns that has been spawning for years, but I've never even looked into info on raising them. I just know when raising seahorses, or even certain live food hydroids can be as big of a pain in the butt as the other roids.

wow looking good, they grew pretty fast..

mines hatched a few weeks ago at night and gone by morning. But my pair layed eggs again last saturday.

I'm still waiting on that Clownfishes book that i got from someone from RC. Its been two weeks, and still nothin.

I wanted to set up a tank for the babies, but i wanted to read the book first.

How do you get the tiny hatchlings from the main tank to the nursery tank? Siphon or net or what??

Did you start them on rotifers or bbs?

I think many breeders have gone to using a microalgae paste over producing phyto for the rots or bbs.

I started a new Job and barely have time to sleep much less anything else .....................................................actually this is first time on RC in almost 2 weeks ....lol
