Baby shrimp or Mysids? HELP

So I saw these emerge from where our two pepermint shrimp hang out. There was a swarm of about 100-200. I have NOT seen these in my tank ever before. I have alot of refugium life but nothing like this. Is it a baby shrimp? or what? you tell me.

Approximately how long are these? I thought peppermints had a life cycle involving microscopic, planktonic larvae. The circumstances of their appearance would lead me to draw the conclusion that they are peppermints, though. See if you can find any info on the peppermint life cycle.

its HIGHLY unlikly that these are pepermints.. if you saw a swarm of 100+, i would bet they are mysis shrimp!
