it was ok. a little disappointing...but tell me where can you find all tho collectabler rare coral in one place and good price. i was lucky to get in 15min befor everyone did because have to drop off some coral from a buddy of my... got some first pick..lol...with a good deal. got a jayda watermelon for $150 and got it from gcarroll so is a real deal. befor the door open i was done shopping..lol now there a story to tell in my mind all tho sucker wait in line to get in to get 2nd and i got the bigger frag...lol...JK overall it was fun day. after ba-cfm then went to atlantis and check out more coral. i know is a morther day but i did everything a day befor. i got back around4pm. i will post some pic later on

that was not me. i was the one sharring a booth with greg carrol. i was the one with mostly lps. acans, favia and such. that does sound like a nice miile.
mark09 texas.. i am considering it. i want midwest frags, trying to figure the logistics of it and moving coral. easier said then done. i may drive in the vw for this one. we will see.

I have done a couple of trades with people out there. If I do go, I will be sending some frags to someone out there a couple days before via fed ex to hold them and fly out there.

Just FYI, Atlantis never planned on bringing their corals to sell like they did the previous two years. The strictly informational booth that was setup was the plan the whole time.

It was great meeting new people and putting faces to names that I've known here on RC. I only had 2 hours of sleep the night before, so pardon me if I seemed a little out of it to anybody. In the end, I came back home with over half of my corals, but it was still a lot of fun.

Justin had an awesome display with some great prices, as well, from every vendor.

I think it made sense that Ming didn't set anything up, since he's just a couple of exits away. Less stress for the corals, and no unnecessary fragging. It's worth it to visit his store.

No doubt, those that went got something they wanted at a great price. I even saw a mini-colony of Sunset Monti go for only $100. CRAZY!

Kinda stinks the turnout was bad but being on Mothers day it had to be expected. Honestly any other day and i would have been there for sure.

Mings display tanks are super nice. I understand him not being there. but maybe it should have been a little more clear he was only setting up a information stand.

I had a great time chatting and seeing old faces like Sang,Karl,Jim,etc,etc.

Rich (wishintobeoutside) was another great reefer to meet and I look forward to talking and trading again in the future!

I know the scheduling conflict and no shows are really bad but to be honest all 3-4 of these events I have been too have had poor attendance IMO. These type of events are the future of the hobby and if us hobbiest don't support them they will be no longer.

Besides where else can you pick up a 2-3" aftermath war coral frag for a mere $30 or giant 4-5" acan bowerbanki coloines for $100!!

Cheers to all who came and chatted, I came with 150+ frags and left with 75 or so and let me just say "people got some screaming deals'!!!!

Yes the attendance was low but it was mother's day.


So far I have attended Every CFM Event and will do the same this year. We have the NW-CFM and the DA-CFM still
