Amazingly (or maybe not), back when they wholesaled around $50, and even when the priced dropped to around $20 wholesale, they were like steel. Always came in good shape, and survived long term. Now the wholesale price is around $4 or less, they come in poor shape and drop like flies![]()

They look great agsansoo. Just a thought though. I've noticed with mine if I put objects in the tank it gives them more to fight over. Because of the nature of the fish you'll get one or 2 that will claim each item as "theirs" and fight off the others. Its fun to watch. I don't know if it would turn into a problem for maroons.
