Just returned from a week stay on Islamorada. Got some diving in. My favorite dive of the week was the wreck of the Duane in northern Islamorada. The wreck sits in about 100 ft. - 125 ft. of water and is home to a nice school of barracuda (at least 30), a few green morays, and tons of smaller reef fish (wrasses, grunts, yellow-tail snappers, angels etc.).

On one of the dives a family of 4 or 5 rays sped by. We even saw a manatee!

Here's some pics:

Beautiful pictures! Just got back from the Keys myself and also swam with manatees...it was incredible!

what depth were those taken at?
nice color that is hard ot get past 30 ft without a strobe

The reef pics were in only about 30-40 ft. of water. I don't remember which pictures I used a strobe on but I did on several. I used a strobe on the manatee though.

I use a Sea & Sea strobe.

See any sharks? I only saw one in Key Largo while diving. That was the first I've ever seen and I've been down there about every year to every other year for about 22 years.

Where did you see the manatee in the mangroves?

Saw a couple nurse sharks but that's about it.

The manatees were very close to some boat docks.
