Back in the game

Can't wait for it to mature either, still having little new tank issues to work through. Considering plumbing in a small algae fuge, always have issues carbon dosing newer tanks.
Thanks for the sump pics matey. I'm looking to upgrade hence looking out for sump and filtration ideas etc.

Is that Matrix rocks in the return area? Roughly how much do you have in there?

Very nice, look forward to it! It's 4L of pond matrix sitting there.

Had to dose prazi in the display. Flukes... I've had a bit of a think and I'm going back to my original SPS plan and have a stylo/pocci garden. Mind the cloudy tank, prazi & no skimmer for days is making things extra average. Also removed the LEDs as they looked like a hack job so just running 6 bulbs.

I'm curious to know how the corals and the tank in general react to the in tank prazi treatment..
Keep up posted, please.

Mate, the acros sulked for a long while, most other things were "OK".

That monticulosa is sweet! It would be cool to do a tank with thick nubby acros like that monticulosa and stylo and pocci like you were talking about doing. Following this one.

The big tank will be coming down. I've decided to finish off my plumbing & gasfitting apprenticeship and leave the fire brigade so need something a bit easier on the elec bill while my income drops down a bit. Have a solatube to install over it once it's in place. Been trying to decide how to have the drains on this thing, will probably just be a couple uniseals with a siphon and trickle down the backup with low profile bulkhead strainers. If anyone has a better idea?

It's an acrylic dome just over 24"/60cm. That PVC sewer pipe is 16"/40cm!
