- dandy7200, thanks Dan your tank is a masterpiece built to me!!!, im really happy with the skimmer you built for me, you still have to come by to help me out with the new plumbing and adding the reactors :bum:
-Jflip2002, thanks for the kudos!!! I didn't wanted to have a close canopy and this was actually a great way of having a floating canopy that i can raise manually without much effort and have good access to the tank, the canopy holds 3- 400w radium bulbs on lumenarc minis and is supplemented with 4-165w VHO's super actinic, also a have 3 LED (blue) moonlights, i also built in the canopy 2 rack with aluminum, that sit 2 ice-cap fans (4 in total) blowing the hot air out, so when the canopy is lifted i don't cook myself when i'm arranging thing in the tank, very easy open access
- nanocube14 and kdblove_99 thanks im glad you guys like it, is just different
After a little thinking i decided to get the background clean it was almost covered with coraline so lets see the comparison pics are what my tank looks now a days
With coraline more natural look
Scraped coraline it took me a good 2 hours to get all out of the back of the tank
Hey ROBZ - WOW - looks amazing! Great tank - congrats.
What kind of fish are the reddish/orange ones in the bottom picture? I am planning my livestock and I like them for small/schooling fish and to add color.
Itay, thanks man they are Lyretail Anthias (Pseudanthias squamipinnis) very common in the aquarium trade, very colorful and hardy, but need a lot of feeding
