Hey Robz

I was looking back and noticed your substrate. What are you using and what size? I'm trying to find any alternative for my sand domes.

i used a sugar grane sand and mixed with thick crush coral just about 1 inch in tha bottom the crush coral is now covered with coraline thats why it looks dark in some photos, sorry i missed your question :)

Looking good! I was at Robbie's house on Wednesday and the tank looks SICK!!! Beautiful reef man! I just can get over how thick those corals are getting.

I don't know how I missed this build. Great work all-around. Love the tile work. You can always tell when there was a lot of thought put into ones tank. Looks great man.

Great job Rob! I love the stand, very creative. Everything looks so healthy and vibrant. Awesome!

thanks streamlineGFX it was really a long process to put the tile together lol... im glad looks good for you guys, im pretty happy with the outcome, using leftover materials of my home remodeling.

Looking really good.
The stand and light hood look great!
Your corals looks great!
And that harem of lyrtails is just awesome!

This was one of the best tank threads in a while. I want to use tile in my next stand and you gave me idea's all over the place.

You definately have the blue thumb. LOOKS GREAT!!!!

ROBZ this tank is spectacular, i love the fuge full of anemones that is super cool.

how many clowns in the system?

- Bax, thanks man, im really happy with the lyrtails i have 11 females and 1 male now and they are doing great planning on getting 5 more small females.

- dvanacker, thanks !!! definitely the option of using tile or granite as i've seen in some tanks makes it look more part of the room, i still have to finish the canopy and framing better but im pretty happy with the results, is different:cool:

- GSMguy, thanks for the kudos, i started with 6 roses and 2 green BTA's now they cloneed and i have around 15 roses is all a big red mass, were a pair of aussie black percs are LOVING it and in one of the prop tanks i have a pair of Onix percs with 2 roses, i have been waiting for long time to see if i score a pair of nice Picasso percs(odd ones) for the main display, is just so hard to get a hold of a nice pair:rolleyes:

Very, very nice! Your hard work absolutely shows in the beauty of your tank. All of my SPS is growing very nice, I am in the process of getting rid of the few soft corals that I have left. . I am sure your tank is an inspiration to many. Keep up the good work.
