You can get the aluminum in HD or LOWES, angled aluminum is pretty cheap and used a Rivet Tool to get it together nice a clean.
Thanks Rob! I was hoping to hear something like that (cheap and easy :) )

Oh and BTW, all your corals are outlandish! You make me sick!!! (in a good way)

The colors on your M. undata are unreal!

And this is too cool, what is it?

TIA!

Do you have a winch on your light rack?

I have a 9ft long tank and looked EVERYWHERE for a small electric winch with no success. I ended up having to DIY one with a worm drive DC motor and a 2A power supply.

Schweeeeeet set up mate. The tile mosaic definitely takes the cake.

In regards to your Lyretail Anthias, I had a bunch of 6. 1 Male, 5 Female. I fed only once a day and these guys were fatties. For those interested in these fish you could trial once a day but if they begin losing weight, definitely up the feedings.

Anyway, awesome mate, keep the pics coming!

Yes i believe that could be about right with the Lyratails they are pretty strong and hardy fish, this is first time i keep em and before getting them i heard that they needed at least 3 times a day feeding, so when i realize that they would eat pretty much anything i have already setup an automatic feeder 3 - 4 times a day, well im always been fund of feeding a lot which is not only beneficial for the fishy but the corals too!!! ;)

thanks again for the kudos mate im glad you liked the mosaic it was a lot of work:D

here a couple of recent pics i have to take a few more updated shots soon!!!

Rob, how do you like the Radiums? Do you feel that the t-5's or vho's are necessary with the radiums? I am contemplating switching over from 250 d/e bulbs to the 400 watt Radiums.

THanks Joe!!! when are you setting up your tank buddy!!!?

Bax thanks for the kudos!!!

Maximus,
I love the radiums,i have used them for ever.... but IMHO i do like to have VHO's in my tank that extra color to the corals does it for me.;) again some people might find it too blue but again I love the combination!!!'hope it helps

You are going to luv the colors in your corals with the radiums, givi them a little time;)

Thanks Rob. Do you prefer the vho's or the t-5's? Back in the days, I used to run 2x400 Iwasaki's and 2x110 watt vho's.
