The time has come to start a build thread for my new 90 gallon tank. For the past two years I have been buying parts and equipment for the tank. Ill tell you it was very hard for me to have all those toys laying around so about 6 months ago I started adding them to my 55 gallon to make it a better tank. At that point I also started to get into SPS.

Equipment:
90RR AGA
Custom stand and canopy made by past URS member Jet Jer.
2 x250 Watt 20K radium driven by 2x Icecap 660
2 x54 watt T5 actinic lights (will be upgraded to LED)
2 x MP10s
Mag 9.5 return pump that will also feed a fuge and my calcium reactor.
Custom made sump
Reef Octopus Extreme 200
100 Micron filter socks
300 watt finnex heater with a back up.
ACjr to control lights, heaters, calcium reactor, and whatever else I want to plug into it.
LiterMeter 3 for top off.
6.5 " Octopus Single Chamber Calcium Reactor
2 x American DJ 4 outlet power boxes.

Im sure there is more but that is just what is coming to the top of my head.

I will get some pictures up of the tank, and what I have finished so far. I just moved so getting this set up and unpacking everything is taking longer then I thought it would.

I would like to say thank you to everyone on RC who has helped me out in the time that I have been in this group. Also a thank you to Randy and all the guys at ARC for dealing with all my questions and "œshit."
 
Wow... it's crazy how similar our equipment lists are. I guess it's safe to say we have great taste! :D Following...
 
There may be a turn in things to come. I was looking on getting a cabnet made to hold my reactor, CO2 bottle and top off jug. I am now thinking about having a new stand,canopy and cabnit made. Ill try to post pics after work.
 
I am now having Joe from Joes Wood Works build me a new stand, canopy, and a cabnet to hold the extras that wont fit in my stand. Joe said that I should be getting the stand next Sunday so im having to wait on getting things moving. Cant wait to get this going!!!!!!!!!!
 
Dont move and set up a reef at the same time!

Instead of painting the back of the tank I took an idea from someone on here and used black window tint. I think it will hold up good!

That's a nice lookin stand! Love that your 90 has the corner overflow vs those Mega flow monstrosities. Who ever invented that should be shoved up a dog's butt.

Just wait till you see the new one. Joe does great work. Im getting a facial tic waiting now! The guy who I got the stand from had the mega flow and I hated it. It was a pain to cut the stand to fit the corner but hey, im not using it now.
 
I dont care what some people say. Ill give Joe a plug on my build. He has called me so many times, ive done more emails in the last 2 days then I have in years. Joe is a guy who does it right. does amazing work and is a pleasue to work with. Ill keep everyone updated!
