Swimming in the School
So I came home to my koran angelfish on the floor in front of my display tank. He had been back in the tank for 5 days, the tank finally having finished the 8 week fallow period after my velvet outbreak over christmas break. I guess I forgot to put the lid back on after feeding this morning. Then, I walked over to one of my freshwater tanks and the filter pump had broken apart. The impeller broke and burnt out the pump and they don't sell replacements. So I went to the store. I ended up getting a new filter that was even better for $40, and I picked up 3 new fish at a great price (they are all in quarantine and are already eating as well).
I ended up getting a blue streak cleaner wrasse from Quality marine for $12.99 that had been at the store for a month, is fat and is greedily eating everything.
A 3 inch pearlscale butterflyfish that is devouring mysid as well as pellets, and a 2 inch bicolor angel that loves nori and mysid.
All in all, my bad day ended pretty well.
